September Ahead! Some Back to School Activities

What did you do during your summer holidays?

Этот вопрос вряд ли воодушевит на спонтанную монологическую речь всех и сразу!.. Предлагаю вам несколько вариантов для проведения первых уроков в новом учебном году.

Итак, вариант №1: "Summer ABCs".
Хотите, чтобы ученики вспомнили как можно больше лексики по теме "Лето. Каникулы", проведите игру-спринт "Summer ABCs". Разделите класс на команды. Дети вспоминают и записывают на листе бумаги летние слова в алфавитном порядке так, чтобы для каждой буквы алфавита был пример: слова или словосочетания (существительные, глаголы или прилагательные). Например:: S is for shorts/sunbathe/sunny. Ограничьте время. После сигнала команды по очереди зачитывают слова, начиная с первой буквы алфавита. Подсчитайте баллы: за каждое слово + 1 балл, за пропущенное слово (буква без примера) - 1 балл, за слово, которого нет в списке ни у одной из команд соперников + 1 балл.
